Creating your Vision Board Day 4
I wanted to talk to you for just minute more about creating a vision board to reach your goals. When you start planning for your vision board, you might think it has to be about your career, business, or health. While those are all great topics, did you know you could create a vision board for small goals as well?
A vision board is for what you want to achieve. It doesn’t have to be big, audacious goals. That can be overwhelming. Instead, it might be easier to create a vision board on one specific area or something you want to achieve, be, do, or have. Maybe you want to change your negative views to being more uplifting and positive. Then creating a vision board around positive affirmations would be a good choice.
When I first started creating vision boards, a big overall life goal was intense. In fact, I wasn’t even sure what my life goals were. However, I did know what I wanted as a health goal.
I want to share 3 ideas for vision boards that are geared to specific areas.
- Specific project goals. If you’re a business owner or in charge of a specific project at work, create a vision board that showcases the outcome you want from a specific project. Paste images and words that convey a successful completion and the results from the project.
- Family goals. Maybe you want to be closer as a family. Paste images of happy families doing things together, inspiring quotes, and words of close families. If you are planning a trip as a family, use a vision board to showcase having fun on the trip, as well as the things you want to do and see on the trip.
- Spiritual goals. Create a vision about how you want to grow spiritually. Use images of crystals or meditations or whatever speaks to you about your spirituality. Use positive affirmations and words that give you the feeling you want to have when you are spiritually attuned.
There you have it. These three types of vision boards can be easier to create and accomplish than a big overall life vision board.
