Wowzers, could the weeks get any quicker? I can’t believe it is that time again. So yet another week and yet no more loss. I once again weighed in at 88.8kg. It is a little surprising considering I once again had a poor week with food choices. I can’t believe the weight stayed the same.
Monday – 3rd December
Not a lot to report today, back to work on day shifts, feeling tired as the weekend was catching up with me. Feeling a bit flat but all good all the same. I haven’t gone shopping in a while so the fridge is looking a bit bare, so I purchased my lunch this week, a rice bowl and dumplings…….yep not the best choice but when I am tired, food like that is comfort food.
Early night for me tonight to try catch up on some sleep, I’ve also got a bloody ugly cold sore too. just goes to show how run down I am at the moment. I really need to stop burning the candle at both ends.
Tuesday – 4th December
Well the weather is warming up and will be stinking hot for the rest of the week after today, so I decided it’s about time that I got back into exercising again. On the bike I went as I rode to work, it was the perfect day for it too. What’s even better is that where I ride is passed the West End Brewery where the Christmas lights are all up at the moment. I must admit, when I was younger the lights were spectacular, but now I am an adult, they certainly don’t have the pizazz they used to.
Wednesday – 5th December
Not too much to report here today, Leisa is coming home tomorrow which is exciting, so I want to make sure the place is looking nice when she gets back. I know Leisa is a fan of Christmas, especially the decorations, so I made sure I had the tree up and all the christmasy things around the house ready for when she got home ?
Food was average today and although I didn’t do any exercise per se, I was running around outside and inside, sweating up a storm trying to get the place looking nice. There is nothing better than a clean house including clean sheets, yummy ?
Thursday – 6th December
Well Leisa is home today after about 10 days away. I am at work, but am looking forward to seeing her when I get home ? work was ok , again really hot outside, good ol’ summer, but the air conditioners at work are so freezing. It’s one extreme or another, I am sure you can all relate ?
Nothing much else to report for today nil exercise and food was average again but all in all it was great to have Leisa back home.
Friday – 7th December
Well it’s a Friday and again not much to report. I purchased lunch again today, instead of a rice bowl, I got a salad instead, so there is my better choices right there ? it is nicer on a hot day to have a salad anyway. Leisa is off tonight to an old workmate Christmas get together, so a quiet night in for me tonight. I might just kick up my heels and relax, whatever I have to do it can wait ?
I can’t get too excited that it is a Friday though as I still have another 3 days of work to go ☹ joys of shift work, but at least I get to enjoy some time off during the week, which is always handy.
Saturday – 8th December
Ah good ol’ Saturday, the weather has totally changed, and it is now raining, but muggy. Time to try cool the house down, I think. Off to work this afternoon, so not much else on my plate today. Food has been pretty good, I am trying to decrease my appetite again as I have been noticing my portion sizes are getting bigger. If I can curb that, then it is half the battle isn’t it ?. Not much else to report for today
Well that is another week down and again it hasn’t really been very eventful. At least I got on the bike this week and will try to do keep that going at least once a week. Laziness kind of kicked in this week and it turned into a week of convenience rather than preparation. The fact that I once again have not lost any weight shows that I am flailing a bit and need to do something about it. All good though because as promised, I have also included for this week, a video on goal setting. This is what I first did when I set my aim to lose the weight and begin the Better Choice Journey. So what I will do is my 1 month goal setting on video for you to see how it is done. Then I want you to also set one for yourself. Don’t worry too much about it as all will be explained in the video.
