Sunday – 4th November
Well another week down and another one full of poorer choices. I was absolutely surprised though that I still lost weight on the scales. This week I am 88.9kg which is a loss of 700g from the week before. Even more surprisingly, I lost 1.5 cm from my waist and the same from my hips. I will take it, but I don’t deserve it

It is day two of the MHFA course at our studio and it went great. The participants have been awesome and eagerly taking in the content of the day. I love teaching this course, participants learn such invaluable skills and it gives me pleasure seeing them understand the concepts and positively change their ideas of mental health

Monday – 5th November
Nothing exciting happening today, I am on arvo shifts and enjoyed a bit of a sleep in. Again, I didn’t partake in any exercise and the food was average. I have introduced some lollies into my diet from the work lolly jar. It is awesome on arvo shift but makes you want to eat sugar again all the time. So naughty

Tuesday – 6th November
Well not much to report here either, in between study, a house inspection and arvo shift it seemed pretty busy. I did find myself ordering Uber eats though which isn’t the greatest thing to do for both the waistline and the bank account. It is such an easy choice when busy and is only showing me how much I am falling back into the bad habits again.

Wednesday – 7th November
Again, an uneventful day. I continued to study for an essay due next week as well as preparing for a presentation I was going to give to primary school students on fingerprinting….so cute 😊 food was average, just quick and easy and more protein like meat and egg than anything else and again no exercise had by me.

Thursday – 8th November
Today I started work early so I can head up to Keithcot Farm Primary School to tach the kids about forensics and fingerprinting 😊 they were so adorable. You feel like a superstar when you rock up in your uniform and pull out your crime scene camera and dust for fingerprints and they are all in awe and hang on every word. I could get used to that attention ha ha ha ha.

As for making better choices, I did go for a brisk walk which got my blood pumping and my food intake was minimal as my appetite has been a lot less. Not necessarily a great thing, but aids in my desire to eat bad food.

Friday – 9th November
Hectic day for me today at work. It is my first day shift in a long time and had a whole lot of stuff to catch up on before being off all next week in training. I definitely got my steps up today as I was flitting in between labs trying to process the exhibits and bring the list down, so was good to get on top of that. I didn’t quite get as much done as I wanted but it lightened my load quite a lot.

Food wise wasn’t brilliant, I did buy lunch which had some rice in it, but all in all it wasn’t too bad in the scheme of things.

Saturday – 10th November
Well today was a real fun day. Leisa and I joined our good friends Stacey and Rob for the Lochiel Park Run. It was a gorgeous morning and the length of the course was 5km which didn’t seem too bad. Of course I didn’t run the whole way , in fact there was more walking than jogging, but it was such a nice morning, walking and talking with my friends, enjoying the beautiful weather and catching up over a coffee afterwards. It was really great. We even were extra keen and walked from Stace and Rob’s place which added another kilometre or so either side of the park run. Pretty stoked we did it, although it does remind me of how fit I am but all the same, you can only go up from there 😊

Although it was simply for fun, my running outfit did intimidate a lot of the runners, so I think it gave me an advantage and shaved off some time ha ha ha

After the run I had to head home and continue working on my assignment, it is due on Wednesday and I am super stressed that I won’t have it done on time as next week will be full on with the course I will be participating in. I am getting a bit worried and stress levels are pretty high

In Conclusion
Another up and down week. I have engaged in some activity with the fun run, but not nearly enough to continue losing the weight that I would like. My food choices are very erratic also. I have introduced some sugar into my diet which has made me crave more, and I have fallen back into the trap of making quicker food choices rather than healthier, so I really need to reign that back-in. luckily the scales showed a loss so I will take that, but I will use up my luck soon enough. My stress levels have definitely played a part in my poorer choices as I still haven’t quite found a good strategy to deal with prolonged stress. That is going to be part of my goal setting to aid me in my stress reduction techniques using NLP
Thanks for joining me on this weeks journey, I hope you have had a great week and be sure to tune in for next weeks instalment of the week that was.
