Weigh In Weight - End of Week 6

Sunday – 21st October
Well it is time to weigh in again today, a few poor choices last week but I am super happy as I weighed in at 89.6kg. That is a 900g loss. A little unexpected but am pleased that although I made some poor choices, it still had a loss. I also lost 1.5 cm on my chest too which is great. Good start to the week

As for food choices, well…… maybe not the best ones made. We ordered Thai food from around the corner, it is yummy but was a lazy choice by both Leisa & me.
Monday – 22nd October
Today I decided to ride in to work with my new bike. It was a beautiful morning and I really enjoyed the trip in. I will attempt to ride in at least once a week, especially now that the weather is getting better by the day. I didn’t flog myself, just a nice pace. It ended up being about a 20-minute ride in which is nice

Tuesday – 23rd October
Well today ended up being a busier day at work. all plans kind of went out of the window as although I had brought in a good lunch which needed to be heated, I had to change my plans once being called to head to a crime scene at Murray Bridge. We stopped off on the way to ensure we had quick and easy food to eat while on scene, and well……..a Turkish pide (yep bread, bread and more bread) plus a, hu hum……chocolate croissant ☹ cue shameful pointing finger here.
I knew we would be on our feet all day and would be pretty busy, so although it was not great choices at all, I would burn (and sweat) most of it out….right?

I also had tennis that night also which was even more burning of calories so I felt a little better doing so. I did nearly 19,000 steps for the day too which I think is ok. I may have also teased a friend about stealing a cup cake whilst he was playing tennis. I didn’t take one…..then, but later, I may have indulged in one. Thanks Dan

Wednesday – 24th October
Not a whole lot to report today, nothing too much really happened. I didn’t partake in any exercise today as I was a bit stiff and sore from the last couple days. I may have also indulged in some cake that a colleague brought into work. yep another poor choice. I am not doing so well this week ☹ it is easy to fall off the wagon
Thursday – 25th October
Well today I am off to do some more training for the CSI’s at work. it is always fun to be part of teaching and developing the skills of the up and coming CSI’s for SAPOL. They are a great bunch too. I never eat a whole lot when I teach for some reason, so I hadn’t really eaten anything all day. Problem is that I was starving by the time I was on the way home, and I indulged in……..KFC (hangs head in shame) as it was quick and easy and I was exhausted. If it was any consolation, it wasn’t that nice and I immediately regretted it once I did eat it. I am really making poor choices this week and am finding myself falling into old, bad habits, especially when I have crazy busy days. Easy and quick takes over from better choice and nutritious.
Friday – 26th October
Not a whole lot to report today, things were better with my food choices which is great (especially the last week’s effort) but no exercise today which I am not too worried about as I have been on my feet a lot this week.
Saturday – 27th October
Well today was a jam-packed day of fun and excitement. We started off hosting our beautiful friends baby shower which was great fun, and awesome seeing everyone to come together to celebrate the soon to be new bubs and beautiful, glowing mum. I can’t wait to meet your little girl in a couple of months 😊 saying that though, when having a party, party food and drink is had, and yes of course I once again made poor choices by eating and drinking whatever without concern of choosing a better alternative.

After the baby shower, Leisa. Her daughter Kloe and me went off to watch Mamma Mia at the Festival Theatre. It was a great show and is always nice to spend a night out with loved ones. It really capped off a fun-filled day (and poor choice week)
In Conclusion
This week has definitely been my worst yet. I have made extremely bad choices and am finding myself slipping back into my old habits again. It is time to sit back down, do my goal setting again and regroup to start kicking some better choice butt for next week. I can only imagine what the scales are going to say tomorrow ☹ oh dear. Well this is life. We have good and bad moments, its all about the journey and springing back when we fall off the wagon. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED 😊
Thanks for joining me for this week’s instalment of ‘the week that was’ I hope you have a fabulous week and I look forward to keeping you updated in next week’s entry.
