Sunday – 18th November
Weigh in time again and it has been another week of indulgences and poor choices. My stress levels continue to increase, and I continue to resort back to my poor habits. It has shown on the scales a little bit too. Today I have weighed in with another 200g added to my weight and weighed in at 89.2. it is expected considering my poor choices, in fact I thought I would have put on more. Not much change in the measurement department too, just 0.5cm to my chest measurements, which again isn’t too bad.

Today I was on day shift and needed to do a bit of a shop for food so I ordered Uber eats for brunch. I made sure to make a yummy better choice, so I ordered a nourish bowl from the Loose Caboose. I have posted about this food before, and again it was delicious. No exercise today.

Monday – 19th November
Well today was another great day of teaching Mental Health First Aid, this time it was at an organization in the city. Although there were a few technical mishaps right at the beginning, we were able to get it all sorted and went on to have a pretty successful day. Again, I don’t eat a whole lot when I teach so just had some nibbles to get me through the day. No exercise was had but being on my feet all day definitely put my step count up.

Tuesday – 20th November
Day 2 of teaching Mental Health First Aid and I have really enjoyed teaching to this lovely bunch of people. Again, not a lot of poor choices when it came to food but tonight was tennis night and it was good to have a bit of a run around with some good friends. That put my steps well over 20,000 for the day. Pretty happy with that 😊

Wednesday – 21st November
Back to work today and not a whole lot to report. I had purchased lunch today at the common Fresh Bites on Flinders Street. I ordered a rice bowl and some dumplings, which isn’t the greatest choice but it turns out it will be my breakfast, lunch and dinner so I didn’t feel so bad about doing so. No exercise was had again today. Yes, I know, I am not doing a good job on this part.

Thursday – 22nd November
Not much to report today, same ol’, same ol’. No exercise again which is no good, and tonight Leisa and I had a night in and decided to get some Thai takeaway at a little place around the corner for us. It was nice to spend some time with her, although the food wasn’t that great. I guess another poor choice day for me.

Friday – 23rd November
Well today was a fun day, after work I got invited to play softball down at West Beach as a curtain raiser for the Adelaide Bite. It was the Police vs. Firies, or guns vs. hoses as they called it. I ended up getting shuffled over to the firies as they needed a token female in their team and they were a bit under represented. Was loads of fun, even though the firies got smashed. Well done Police, well done. There was an amazing moon that night too, I couldn’t help but snap a few photos 😊

Saturday – 24th November
Today I had to start studying for a uni exam I have on Monday. I always leave it to the last minute and give myself un necessary stress. But I work better under pressure. We also had our Intrinsic Mind Holistic Health & Wellness Christmas Party which was great to see everyone and celebrate our first year at the studio. Thanks everyone for sharing it with us. The food platters that we ordered were all reasonably healthy but with a bit of carbs including – sushi, wraps, cheese platters etc. I did indulge in a bit of drink also, so not the best choices, but all in all it was a great night to have our inaugural Intrinsic Mind Christmas party 😊

In Conclusion
Well this week I had some fun with some parties, baseball, tennis, teaching MHFA and of course, work. A lot of excess also occurred this week with alcohol and food, and it definitely contributed to my poor choices this week. Hopefully it won’t show too much on the scales again. I have been feeling pretty stressed again this week and I have enjoyed letting loose a little with the indulgences I have enjoyed. I definitely need to reign it in though. It will only get harder as it gets into the silly season, as the indulgences will be everywhere. Let’s see how I go with that
